Why was I charged an international fee?

If you see an additional 1% fee on your transaction, it is because your payment method (e.g., your credit card) is based outside of the United States.

Our payment processor, Stripe, applies this standard

1% international transaction fee to securely handle cross-border payments. This fee is separate from any fees your own bank might charge and is a standard practice for international e-commerce.

If your payment also required a currency conversion (for example, from your local currency to USD), Stripe may also apply a 1% currency conversion fee.
